In this example we will be a carpenter bidding a remodel job for the Smith family. After a meeting with Mr. and
Mrs. Smith, we have found out that they want a hardwood floor in their kitchen, take out a half wall between the kitchen and dining room, a medicine cabinet built into the wall in the bathroom, the bathroom ceiling replaced with new drywall, and a bookcase built in the
study. Now that we have the project requirements we can begin to enter the bid.
We begin by clicking the Add new bid button on the tool bar.
